Cavalry Services was built on the values of service, respect, and helping others.
Growing up, I was fortunate to be influenced by two incredible people. My father, a Vietnam veteran, inspired me from a young age to serve my country and instilled in me a deep respect for the veteran community. His service, resilience, and commitment to others played a major role in my decision to join the Australian Army and wear the uniform myself.
My mother was equally influential in shaping who I am today. She was one of the most selfless and caring people I have ever known. Known and loved by many, she spent her life helping others, often putting the needs of those around her before her own. Her kindness, compassion, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
One of the last conversations I shared with Mum before she passed away was on Anzac Day. I spoke to her about my dream of building a business that would support veterans, older Australians, and people who needed a helping hand to remain comfortable and independent in their homes. I was excited about creating something that would make a genuine difference in people's lives.
Today, that vision has become Cavalry Services.
Every lawn we maintain, every home we clean, and every customer we support reflects the values my parents passed on to me. From Dad came the importance of service, commitment, and looking after your mates. From Mum came compassion, kindness, and a belief that helping others is one of the most meaningful things a person can do.
As a veteran-owned and operated business, we are proud to support members of the veteran community, their families, and all Australians who need reliable help around their homes. We believe that small acts of service can have a significant impact on a person's quality of life and independence.
While Mum is no longer here to see what Cavalry Services has become, her influence remains part of our business every day. Alongside the values passed down from Dad, her legacy continues through every customer we serve and every member of our team who shares our commitment to helping others.
Cavalry Services is more than a lawn care and cleaning business. It is a reflection of the values my parents taught me and the belief that service to others is one of life's greatest purposes.
